Ellen Byerrum

ELLEN BYERRUM is the author of the Lacey Smithsonian Crime of Fashion Mystery Series, set in Washington, D.C., the City That Fashion Forgot. Ellen is a member of Mystery Writers of America, Sisters In Crime, and The Dramatist's Guild.

In addition to writing mysteries, Ellen is a trade press reporter in Washington, D.C., and a produced and published playwright. Two of her plays, A Christmas Cactus and Gumshoe Rendezvous, both detective comedies, are published by Samuel French, Inc., and are available at www.samuelfrench.com. LAURA DURHAM has been writing for as long as she can remember and has been plotting murders since she began planning weddings. After graduating from Duke University with a major in English, she realized she had few practical life skills. Once out in the "real world," Laura fell into wedding planning and started a wedding planning company in Washington, D.C.

In her nearly ten years of planning some of the city's most noteworthy weddings and working with some of the world's most neurotic brides, Laura has been featured in numerous national wedding magazines, has consistently been ranked one of the top wedding planners by Washingtonian magazine, and is the author of a wedding planning guide to be released in December 2005. Susan McBride

SUSAN McBRIDE is the author of the Debutante Dropout Mysteries for HarperCollins/Avon. The debut of the series, Blue Blood, won the Lefty Award for Best Humorous Mystery of 2004, was on the IMBA bestsellers list for three months, was a Mystery Guild bestseller, and was nominated for an Anthony Award for Best Paperback Original. The Good Girl's Guide To Murder followed in February of 2005 and was a BookSense recommended title, an IMBA bestseller, a Mystery Guild bestseller, and an Anthony Award nominee for Best PBO. The third Deb Dropout Mystery, The Lone Star Lonely Hearts Club, was a Mystery Guild bestseller and one of three finalists for the William Rockhill Nelson Award. The most recent addition to the series, Night of the Living Deb, hit bookshelves in February of 2007. The fifth installment, Too Pretty To Die, will be released in February of 2008.
